Street Photography

Taking on the streets of Maastricht

Mujahid Azfar displays some of his work that was conducted at a WE Festival workshop entitled 'Street Photography'

''Photography was never something I cared much about till I was gifted a camera a few months ago. Thats when it turned into an obsession. I love how split moments in time can be artistically preserved and transformed into memories. It is exactly because of this I attended the Street Photography workshop arranged by the WE Festival. Street photography truly captures the purity of the moments often with queer elements we otherwise overlook. Lauri Saksa , the instructor, had an infectious passion which inspired me to finally make that leap of faith into the hustle and bustle of street photogprahy. From camera advice and photo composition to being comfortable in getting unclose with random strangers, this workshop covered it all.''
